Yesterday this sorta-friend of mine sees my iPod and says, "Hey."
She says, "Can I look through this?"
So I say sure and she looks through it and sure enough she says, "I haven't heard of any of these artists."
And I'm like, "Of course."

So I hung out with a friend earlier this morning until he had an appointment and then after he went to the appointment I went to the mall and ate lunch there until I realized I needed an umbrella to brave the incoming thunderstorm so I went home for the umbrella and then back home I fell asleep and took an hour-long nap and now I'm up and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be hanging out with him into the evening and whether I should just forget about going back and stay here and do the laundry or whether I should just go meet up with him since he's probably still in that building for a thing we both go to.

I don't mind hanging out with him tonight but it'd really annoy me if I went all the way there and found he wasn't planning on hanging out with me.

ps He lost his phone! So I have no means of contacting him.

So I went all the way there and it turns out he's not planning on hanging out with me at all! I ended up hanging out with this girl but it didn't really seem like we were having a great time. I'm not sure I've had an as-bad experience with someone in a while. I managed to get some laundry done, though, which was cool. Totally a disappointing end to a pretty great day. I'm just looking forward to retreating to the comfort of my really awesome bed and just-cleaned sheets. An end like that is never, ever terrible!

I'm moving into a new apartment in a few days instead of hanging out in my grandmother's apartment where they're trying to evict me for not being on the lease. I'm really excited for this move since I'm going to get to do awesome things like play piano or write music again, a very very important outlet for me.

Moving out of the Fenway area is just great, too. I'm tired of seeing a gazillion people wearing Red Sox apparel whenever ball day comes. You might not be Austin, but stay weird in your own little way, Boston. I'm outta here.

So I found out this guy's been avoiding me because his stupid ex-girlfriend has been totally scapegoating me. It's annoying to be a pawn in a conspiracy like this but when you think about it it means I can be like Tom Cruise in Steven Spielberg's Minority Report or maybe even Arnold Schwarzenegger in Paul Verhoeven's Total Recall or preferably even Ralph Fiennes in Fernando Meirelles's sophomore film The Constant Gardener and then it's okay and maybe even romantic.

Instead of Sigur Rós scoring my demise, it'll be M83.

Day two of Sofi's new shoes! They are still going awesome.

I'm hanging out with Imajin today and he's supposed to be wearing his boat shoes too so we can go impromptu sailboating on the Boston Harbor—after he's off work, of course.

I'd wear my clothing with nautical stripes with this but they're made out of heat-unfriendly material.

Anyway, looking forward to another wonderful Boston meet-up between two Julfriends.
