Aw, look at all of you complaining about how badly you slept!
I actually had an amazing and not at all slow day! I got to go to a department/thrift store in Cambridge, MA called The Garmet District because my uncle gave me a $20 coupon for it. It was so huge! The thrift stores I usually go aren't this big. The best part is they have this one section called "dollar-a-pound" where you get a bag and there's a huge pile of clothes and for each pound of clothing it just costs a dollar. I didn't get a chance to browse it, unfortunately, because we were low on time.
I ended up getting a tee that said "QUINCY HOUSE FIELD DAY 2008" in block letters, kinda like the kind you see for the title of Jason Reitman's 2007 film
Juno, and it has this adorable penguin on it. I totally don't participate in
Quincy House Field Day, but I got to get a cute T-shirt for it anyway. The best part is people will now think I go to Harvard or something. Sah-weet.
I also got some huge thick-rimmed sunglasses that make me look like an awesome dork plus a really nice purse.
That store is totally awesome and if any of you are into vintage clothing or whatever, they're great for that, too! They have an entire 80s section.
And then after all of that we went to a Chinese restaurant in Fenway where we ate a whole lot. All in all, it's a pretty awesome day but now I have to stay inside for the rest of it because it's just so hot out! Seriously, I was just about to go to Urban Outfitters to do some returns but it's just too hot right now. Oh well.
