I'm eating a ton of mac and cheese, with soooo much cheese... ._. The cheese smells like ... doritos or something

Along with the usual, I had bacon for breakfast today. My friend told me yesterday that my bacon is absolutely perfect in terms of texture which really made me happy so I made some for myself and I must totally say so myself that it really was pretty fucking goshdarn awesome. He had scrambled eggs with the bacon too and despite not being a fan of scrambled eggs he actually thoroughly enjoyed what I had made. I'm not proud of my scrambled eggs for nothing, you know.
I'm thinking of mixing the two tomorrow morning, the scrambled eggs and bacon. Sausages may be fun because of their texture and stuff but because of the way bacon is shaped it pretty much makes for some awesome combo with something like scrambled eggs. Those people who suffer from weird pickiness problems are missing out on a luxurious world of wonderfully complex but utterly satisfying layered flavors. Food is truly meant to be mixed and matched, like colors and patterns in an outfit. Since I have a brown paper bag, I bought mushrooms for the first time in months. Paper bags are necessary for optimal storage of mushrooms because it helps them retain moisture. The fungi are obviously only fun when wet. Either way, this means I can finally stop having basic pasta and I can start adding things like sautΓ©ed mushrooms to it. And let's totally not forget how satisfying it is to slice mushrooms! I'm really looking forward to giving my cutting board some use once more. ____________________ About the author: A prolific contributor to Jul with some 1481 posts published, Sofi better fancies herself as a cinema geek, a composer, an occasional gamer, a budding fashionita, an absolute cooking newbie and a general life enthusiast-satirist. So, I went to Boloco (a burrito place with a bunch of locations in Boston, including one across the street from this office building), as I often do, and got a Classic Mexican burrito... this time, I tried it with steak instead of the usual pork (carnitas). In the past I tried it with chicken and didn't like it as much, but the steak was actually really good. ____________________ |

Oh, is that the one you usually get?
I usually get the chicken teriyaki. Is there any other kind I should try? ____________________ About the author: A prolific contributor to Jul with some 1520 posts published, Sofi better fancies herself as a cinema geek, a composer, an occasional gamer, a budding fashionita, an absolute cooking newbie and a general life enthusiast-satirist. I just had a baby pickle (the ones made from small cucumbers)... these are a very addicting snack, actually. ____________________ |

| Two (yes, two) boxes of Uncle Ben's Chicken Rice (about 170g each), a can of chicken breast (350g), and a fried egg.
I obviously had leftovers, which I'll eat later today. It was yummy ![]() |

| I drank a cup of orange juice a few hours ago, but I haven't had dinner yet. And frankly, I don't feel like eating anything. I'll probably get really hungry and eat a big breakfast tomorrow. |

For dinner, I went back to that restaurant in the old mill I mentioned earlier (we go there pretty often, since they usually don't have much of a wait), and had fried shrimp. For some reason, they had watermelon on the side, which I'm not sure is a traditional accompaniment to shrimp but was good nevertheless. ____________________ |

I was out at the mall today reading Jack Kerouac novels so I didn't get a chance to make some chow at home. At the mall I had teriyaki chicken from the Japanese place there and while I was eating this guy who asked me back in the bookstore to donate to an organization for cancer care for children came up to me and asked me for a donation again since I didn't give him anything the first time. So I gave him $5 and he asked me if I ended up getting any books and I said I didn't feel like spending money on any and he reminded me of a saying from his mother he told me earlier about books containing all the answers. I told him that there were always libraries and he told me there's something really unique about me, like a rare spark, and then he left.
The chicken was freshly cooked and cut into unusually large pieces and because of this it was juicier than usual. Mall food is bad for you and your wallet but in times like these it's okay to lie to yourself. ____________________ About the author: A prolific contributor to Jul with some 1541 posts published, Sofi better fancies herself as a cinema geek, a composer, an occasional gamer, a budding fashionita, an absolute cooking newbie and a general life enthusiast-satirist. I went to a Chinese restaurant today since we were going to look at mattresses. I got 12 pan-fried dumplings. They were so delicious! I really love dumplings. :J ____________________ About the author: A prolific contributor to Jul with some 1576 posts published, Sofi better fancies herself as a cinema geek, a composer, an occasional gamer, a budding fashionita, an absolute cooking newbie and a general life enthusiast-satirist. How much did you pay for them? There's a dumpling place in NYC's chinatown that sells 5 dumplings for $1.
I love jiaozi, though, especially guotie
As for me, I had white rice, beans, and bacalao (dried and salted cod) at my aunt's place not so long ago. |

Holy crap, really? That's insane. I could've gotten 35 dumplings with the amount I spent.
I need to go to NYC Chinatown for dumplings in the future. ____________________ About the author: A prolific contributor to Jul with some 1584 posts published, Sofi better fancies herself as a cinema geek, a composer, an occasional gamer, a budding fashionita, an absolute cooking newbie and a general life enthusiast-satirist. | Prosperity Dumpling
"These dumplings are ridiculous. As you've probably read by now...they're 5 for a friggin dollar. And they are damn good." They also have an offer of 50 frozen dumplings for $9. I would recommend it to anyone who likes dumplings ![]() |
