No matter what character it is, I expect the handling of the characters in SSB4 to be as horribly broken and disappointing as in Brawl.

So I can't say there's any I think -should- be in there. It's sort of like wondering what 'should' be given an inaccurate representation which will ultimately not live up to what it's supposed to be.

I don't think Nintendo has rights to those SMRPG characters, since they were made with Square. And Halo is an Xbox-exclusive series, if I'm not mistaken, so its characters wouldn't be in a Nintendo series like SSB.

Don't try to flesh it out for them unless you are going to plan out every move, every percentile of damage, throw strength, weight, size, disjointed hitboxes, et' cet' ra.

Keep in mind, Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog were in Brawl, so there's certainly room for third-party characters.

With that said, though, Master Chief certainly seems like a long shot as far as those go.

They're pretty bad at the third party character thing. Hence why I don't believe suggesting them really means anything. Even if they take your idea, expect to be disappointed or given a super character no one will want to play against.

Granted, I was just "oh it'd be awesome if Dedede was in there too and played like this", but it still turned out to actually play mostly like that. (Though it was very predictable how'd he play like in the case he were in, and that was pretty likely almost certain to happen)

E: Oh wait, third party. Derp. Though it still stands for a good character. Then again, SSBB overall was pretty much KIRBY HIJACK LOL

Believe it or not, I can't really think of anyone I'd seriously want to add to the game. I could throw out random characters that I'd like to see in the game, but none that would actually be a good fighter. Plus they used most of the old ideas I had when they made Brawl.




Zant would be fun, actually. Dual-wielding and insane!

I'm not sure why you all are whining about their handling of third-party characters. I still have yet to see a normal Link that doesn't suck.

In any game except Zelda, in fact.

I mean, yeah, Toon Link's pretty good, and I like Windwaker anyway, it's just annoying that they can never get normal Link to be any good.

All of them are balanced horribly, for the most part. I was just noting that extended to third party characters.

I have tried to make SSBB fun. In the end, I am too good and beat most of my casual player friends but am not good enough to beat tourney nuts. So the game's horrid sense of balance has basically made it boring to me.

Tails (He can fly, and he's more annoying than Kirby. I mean, He'd be a kirby/sonic mashup :'/)
Knux has a better chance... yes, I know he can 'fly', but that could just be a glide similar to Charizard, pit, and MK's...
