So I upload a video, that I think was around 10 minutes long. (I'm not sure exactly how long because the length was showing wildly incorrect in my player... ) It uploads completely, processes for several hours, and shows up on the site saying "will be available soon"... and then gets deleted for being too long.

However, if I were to upload it using the Java-based uploader, the time limit would be increased. So... because I didn't use a specific method to send you the file, you're going to process it and then just delete it afterward? But if I send you the exact same file a different way, it'd be fine?

What the shit Youtube.

I'm kinda interested in the fact that if I watch a YouTube video at 720p, it gets halfway through and then stops, but if I watch it at any other definition, it's fine. 1080p works just fine most of the time.

Youtube decided to delete a 44 second long video of mine three weeks after it was uploaded for being "too long". What, 44 seconds is too long to show off a new feature in an RPG engine I was designing?

I hate those country restrictions. I like some foreign music and I don't want to be prohibited from listening to it on YT because I'm in the wrong country

Yeah- it just gets baffling sometimes, like when no one will even sell you the music here but they'll block it from YouTube. (I mean, if it was a misguided licensee thinking blocking YouTube was the way to get more sales, that'd still be dumb but it'd at least have some logic)
