The AC's pretty powerful here, actually, so the temperatures stay pretty low. Sometimes if I'm bored in my apartment I'll even put on extra layers of clothing so I can pretend I'm in a cold climate. Cool thinking, after all, beats the heat. :J

And we've officially passed 100 degrees here...

It's so hot that our pool's pump is constantly overheating and shutting off now, which is annoying... you'd think this would be good weather for going swimming, too.

Here in California, it would usually be about 105/107 now, even without a heat wave, but the La Nina seems to have reversed the conditions.

We get only up to 90-something, you guys get toasted.

I'm not finding much relief here. The only way I'm staying cool is sitting in front of a fan all day, and that's not...really productive at all.

That's pretty much what I'm doing right now... It's still very hot but the fan is helping somewhat, I guess.

How's that odd? It happens here all the time.

Meanwhile we're still getting the heatwave. I can't wait to actually go outside tomorrow without having to be in an air conditioned car to get everywhere.
