Recently finished a game of New Vegas. So I started another! It's kind of addicting.

May get back into TF2 to acquire the laser, too.

My friend reminded me to pick up Minish Cap again. So adorable! And it has the best tools. I love the Cane of Pacci! If only I had owned it back when it came out.

Also went back to the DSiWare game Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again and finished it... or so I thought. Despite being a DSiWare game, they still fit in a full Plus mode, and extra levels! If you liked either of the two full MvDK Mini-Mario games, this is definitely worth taking a look at.

Agreed, I have it on my DSi and it's amazing. It's long and the level designer is great. It's always good for killing some time.

As for me, I'm about to go play Silver again. I haven't played it since last night.

I tried to start up TF2 and/or New Vegas on my laptop, but my laptop was just too old. Bleh.

Was playing SoulSilver at work, fighting Jasmine. L35 Steelix vs. Gauss, L31 Magneton.

(It wasn't going well, can you tell?)

Her Steelix is just above red, definitely more than Gauss can hit for in one attack, and its Iron Tail knocks Gauss to critical.

I plan to revive Aster, my Fire Blasting Clefairy, and then Jasmine gives what I can only guess is her Almost Beaten quote.

"Steel holds on until the very end."

Gauss used Flash Cannon!
Critical hit!
Foe's Steelix fainted!

You're damn right it does.

Still playing New Vegas. Just was surprised by some alternate quest solutions I encountered. I guess you really can talk to almost anyone.

Bastion (XBLA).

Quite a fun little action RPG with a pretty good story (narrated as you play) to boot. Less focus on cutscenes and more on action. Bit of a Secret of Mana vibe in the sense that you have multiple weapons to choose from (each with their own advantages) and can upgrade them.

I bought it after already beating it. I have not started playing it again because I know if I do I will never play anything else. Or do anything else. Hell, if I started, I would never get a job, end up on the streets, lonely and cold, and die far before my time.
So, when my choices are either play JC2, or live out on the streets as a bum, the choice is very hard.

Taking a short break from Earthbound, I've been hopping from game to game to game. I finally gave Metal Gear Solid for the GBC a more comprehensive look and even though I don't entirely "get" the game yet I'm thoroughly impressed by the fact that this was to be played on a GBC. It's truly marvelous.

I'm really glad I get to play these games with a wonderful and not-at-all-expensive USB controller but I just discovered this and even though it'd be totally superfluous it looks like the most beautiful thing in the world. As a lover of primary colors (see also: Wes Anderson) and European things and refurbished retro equipment, this really strikes my fancy. I really wish I had $65 to blow on this. If I ever suddenly have a ton of money, this will be one of my vanity purchases.

Well, I'm giving Saints Row 2 another try, mainly because I'm preordering the third next week.

Urgh. This is a REALLY shitty port. 60+ fps inside, between 5 and 30 if I'm driving. I love how some of the graphics settings have a "custom" option, but no customization.

Also trying to get into New Vegas. It's Oblivion syndrome all over again, it looks awesome, but it has a hard time keeping my interest for more than twenty minutes at a time.

Finally decided to get back into New Super Mario Bros. Wii after not playing for a while... already up to World 4 (last time I got up to World 2 and didn't touch it for a while)

are you my nephew

More specifically, did you get to the second half of W2 and start having massive trouble with the next two or three levels (skipping 2-4 via guide box even)? Hasn't touched it for months. He'd probably play it if I was playing it too, but no thanks: I've done a 1p 100% file already, and I don't want to be carrying a -corpse- through the game for a second game (it'll amount to that, him getting a continue on close to every second level, if not every level)

After a long time of no playing any DS (or Wii but that's probably not going to change anytime soon), I've decided to start playing Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

Mario and Luigi are level 3 and I'm still inside Bowser at the very beginning. I'm probably going to invest in their HP and defenses, last time I only invested in their power and the game was so easy and bosses would die so quickly. :/
