I'm finally back! I'm really happy for now but I'm not really looking forward to staying inside for the entire day again tomorrow. I added some pretty cool things to my wardrobe, though, such as some really cute shorts and this multicolor gingham scarf. The colors for the stuff I got are kinda muted, pastel and they'd go great with some red pastel-colored Keds canvas shoes.

I don't mind staying at home all day, especially if the weather is terrible outside. Sometimes I go out for walks if it's very nice outside.

Working at home doesn't really sound fun. Home is like where I get to chill out and stuff. Offices just give me a nice setting to focus on my work, which is why they're so much better.

I'd probably be the same way.. I generally have a tendency to not get stuff done when I'm at home..

I could probably get by doing my work at home if I could. For one thing, it'd be a lot more quiet... and I could always have the TV on in the background or the radio playing music.

(I can concentrate at work even when it's noisy, although it's not very easy.)

I finally got some business done and progress toward Page 3 of the webcomic I'm writing, Kawa Crossing. I talked with my penciler for a good while about stuff that was gonna go down and well, things are going quite smoothly. The first two pencils are at least penciled out.

Here's hoping that Page 3 gets released sometime before I head to Otakon! I have to say, playing more of the "leader" in this project has really helped me be productive.

I woke up after only like four and a half hours of sleep and the sun was already rising. Pretty crazy, right? It's going to be the hottest day of the year so far, sigh. In the brief time I was out yesterday, it was so humid but it was also kinda cloudy. The colors were all muted and for some reason it felt refreshingly foreboding.

I'm running on 5 and a half, and I'm working.

I've managed 4 before, but not without nearly passing out during my breaks.

Anyone here know someone who's a 'perpetual student'? (Meaning they just keep going to school, never working towards anything.) I think my best friend is like that. She's transferring to her third school this year, changing her major for the second time, but after that she wants to transfer into law school because she's bored.

	My youngest son didn't nap at all yesterday and he passed out just before 7:30pm. He usually naps around 2-3pm and goes to bed around 9-9:30pm. I only get to sleep in past 6am on the weekends, and even then my sons decide to wake me up at 8am. Somehow my wife can keep them sleeping on weekdays to 9-10am! ____________________

I decided after watching Park Chan-wook's dark romantic comedy film I'm a Cyborg, But That's Okay that I really needed to have an antique-style hand mirror in my life. It'd be really fancy and small and I could take it everywhere and admire my deep dark brown Korean-looking-despite-being-Chinese almond eyes. But more than anything I think a vintage-style mirror suits me better than the plain typical make-up mirrors.

Working on 4 hours of sleep generally goes pretty well, it's the rest of the day that kills. Once you start to relax, your body pretty much goes into automatic sleep mode. Once you stand up, you just feel entirely exhausted.
