Cold water... I mean, if you want hot water you'd have to wait for it warm up anyway.

| Cold water.
Because that's how I wash my hands. It certainly helps during the summer but sucks during the winter though.  |

Paulguy's Post configuration I tend to use cold water just because it takes too long for the water to warm up anyway. Also, you shouldn't try to absolutely kill every germ, anyway. I mean, the only time yoou should probably use soap is if it's needed to remove dirt/grease/whatever or if you touched something especially bad like a dead animal or something, and probably a good idea after doing a #2, but even then probably not really necessary. It's better to expose yourself to stuff, as long as it's nothing really bad. ____________________ |

Cold water seems to dry my skin out, I think, and I have eczema so I don't think I need any help drying my skin out anymore than it does already. It depends on the season. Summer = cold water (which I then splash all over my face like a child). Winter = warm water. If I've been outside and my hands are numb, I have a very nasty habit of burning the crap out of my hands. That goes over well in social situations where I'm expected to shake hands. ____________________
