The only thing I dislike about the "latest posts" feature is that it only brings attention to topics that have been posted in recently.

That is, it keeps active threads active, so you end up with most of the activity going into one or two threads instead of seeing a few inactive ones too. Meh.

- No. The whole point of old layouts is to keep an "archive"... if a layout ends up dying, either use a browser that doesn't hang on CSS or bother an admin to remove it.

- &postlen&, you mean? I guess... I'd have to look up how it was done before.

- Meh... item effects are hard enough as it is :/

I've never had this issue with Opera. If it really bothers you that much, change your profile to use Auto-updating layouts.
