I can't forget the ISP Beam/Reset glitch in Super Metroid, even though that's done intentionally. That one's very interesting to pull off.
The other Super Metroid glitch I can think of is the Blue Suit glitch you can do by shinespark-killing Draygon. Doing so stops the Shinespark in mid-air because the game is anticipating a grapple kill. The shinespark then stores itself and your suit is blue. Basically you can shinespark once, wherever you want. Apparently it causes some crazy-glitches if you shinespark at the Hyper Beam Mother Brain fires at you.

xpCynic's Pearl seems to be glitched. Strong Sunlight doesn't mean a 1-turn Solarbeam for some reason when he plays. I had to suffer over Wifi for that .

This happened to me just now in Orange Box. In Episode 2, I was driving the car, then I just fell inside the ground and the game froze.
It sucked. =/ |

| Drag's Post #366 | Back when I was playing Prince of Persia Sands of Time, I was at the part where you're fighting enemies on this weird lift thing with the woman helping you (I forget her name), as the lift is rising. Well, I finished the fighting, after dying many times, and the screen zoomed out into a kind of cinematic view, and then the woman glitched or something, and she went through the floor. (or rather, she glitched and got stuck in the air, and the lift went above her, making it look like she was going through the floor) This happened for no reason whatsoever, and I got a game over because of it.  I had to redo this fight a bunch more times before I finished it again, too.

It's what makes it even more painful. Knowing you were 1/60th of a second away from saving yourself (at least for another few moments)... even moreso when it would've cleared garbage and bought you even more time.

Once, I was playing Paper Mario on an emulator. For some reason I had both (E) and (U) versions of the ROM.
I accidentally loaded a savestate (made during the cutscene going through Toad Town to the castle at the start of the game) on the other version from the one I made it on, and got really glitchy sound and messed up sprites.
I've also had DS games crash on me various times, due to my messed up DS cartridge slot.

| |  the other day I was playing my sonic2 game, and I had gotten 2 emeralds, but I was tred of tails's AI and pressed the reset button
PLaying as tails only, I late got into a special stage, and to my suprise, its the one for the 3rd emerald. Confused, I play through and grab the emerald. at the screen that says "tails got a chaos emerald" or whatever, and somehow, I had 3 emeralds, as if they carried over from before my reset o_0
