Anyway, we're still probably going to get drinking when we hang out probably. It's going to be a blast, I just know it, because we had lots of fun with like just two and a half glasses of chardonnay around. Alcohol is so much fun and people who don't enjoy are of course missing out on a wonderful thing that is socially acceptable and common in many adult social situations.

What's fun for you isn't fun for everyone. As for me, I can't stand the taste of alcoholic stuff and I have no desire to lose control of myself. I wouldn't say I'm "missing" anything. I'm avoiding something that I don't want to do. It's like not skydiving.

I thought cider was kind of like egg-nog in that non-alcoholic versions exist, but "proper" cider (or egg-nog) is supposed to have alcohol...

Of course, by that definition I will admit I've never had "proper" cider or egg-nog.
