There's nothing wrong with pwnies and really the overall Trash Can phase was just a community dump mode which happened along the same time pwnies got popular. Also the arrival of a few newbies that kind of multiplied the randomness.

But I do agree the forum should return to its original status. I think we're all mostly done with the major dropping of junky derptastic posts.

Another thing, I think we should rename MEAT! back to Trash. A lot of new users don't seem to know what the MEAT! forum is.

Either way, it probably should be pretty clearly marked, since it's kind of a special purpose/utility forum.

I don't post here, and even I think it's time for it to go back to normal.

Also, Trash used to be called the "Trash Can". Every implementation of the Acmlmboard (or related) software named it something different "Trash Bin" "Trash Bucket" "Landfill", so let's be boring and plain (and thus, unique) by being ununique and calling it the Trash Can.

I don't think it was really part of the software implementation. I think it was just handled manually and threads were moved by hand over to it.
