Thankfully, CBS decided to improve them.

Maybe soon they can just not have fireworks at all, but just digitally insert them wherever! Truly, we are living in the future.

Blech. That just looks incredibly cheesy to me.

Anyone that thinks a fireworks display like that needs to be "enhanced" needs to have their head examined.

How boring. Those buildings are in the way of the fireworks!

I hate to say it, but the people who actually made those fake fireworks happen were just dying to get some money.

I saw the real thing with my own eyes and I wasn't really that impressed at the time. There's really no need to be dressing up a fireworks show, though.

The best part of the fireworks isn't the part where things explode in the sky but the part where all these people from all over the city gather in one place to watch those things explode. Compared to that experience, televised fireworks shows might as well be faked.

You'd be surprised how many people in graphic design are willing to sell out.

I don't imagine graphic design is terribly profitable unless you're doing what some random person tells you they want you to do, such is a stable job with regular pay.

I'm not from Boston but yeah this is pretty cheesy. I hate corny shit like this, and I agree about watching fireworks on TV. There's just no point, really.

And hearing and feeling the explosions. They're pretty damn loud. Even if you have an insane TV that can reproduce that, your neighbours aren't going to like it.

I'll admit that we did watch the fireworks at home- but mostly for the Pops concert beforehand, and our town has its own fireworks that were the Saturday before the 4th so we just went to those.
