| I prefer Sega much more than Nintendo. The games that Sega releases nowadays are much more interesting than Nintendo games, IMO. The games just had a bit of an interesting quality in the story line that I'd just stick through the whole thing. Plus the boss battles were usually not so repetitive. So my vote goes to Sega. |

What I think is awesome about Nintendo:
Luigi and his brother. Starfox. Metroid. LoZ.
What I think is awesome about Sega:
Chemical Plant Zone music. And maaayyyybeeee Shining Force.
So, even though I own a Genesis, I will say this:
To be this good takes AGES
To be this good takes NINTENDO.
And screw you, Super Ghouls N' Ghosts. My childhood hates you.

If we're talking the 16-bit console era... the Genesis just has a lot more I like, and I'm a sucker for great Genesis music. Of course, I also like the SNES... don't know anyone who doesn't, honestly.
Of course, you really were missing out if you didn't have both since they both had their exclusives, and both had insane libraries. I miss that kind of difference between the consoles.

Well, as stated in another thread out there, I am a Nintendo Nerd, I enjoy its games, mostly its soundtracks, but the gameplay is fun too. I go with Nintendo.

Yeah. These days, games are just kind of scattered at random across consoles... with no real 'kill app' collection like the old days. It sucks.
