Sounds good to me, I may get started on Voyager today! Although I'm nearly done with Angel Season 5 so I may finish that first and then start. It's good to see Netflix adding more and more big name genres to their roster.

Checking right now if any of the movies were added or just the TV series.
Edit: Still just the 2009 reboot. That's ok for now, plenty to watch from the TV series.

Geez, that's a good enough reason for me to get Netflix right there, wow.

I am saddened that they put Enterprise up first, rather than DS9.

My father was thrilled and spent the entire day watching the original series. It happens to be the enhanced version with the special effects redone by the Enterprise guys. "The Doomsday Machine" in particular benefited a lot from the upgrade.

I was disappointed that not all of TNG was there. Trying to get people to buy the DVDs by not offering the later seasons to stream doesn't really work, it's just frustrating. Beyond season 4 there wasn't really much of anything terribly great though, just some scattered random things, but some of those were really good.

I look forward to seeing all four of the watchable episodes of Voyager again -- seriously, that show sucked (probably because I went into it expecting a sci-fi drama instead of stupidity), none but two of the characters were likable and only the darker stories were ever any good. The leftover discarded stories ended up being tweaked to fit the setting of Enterprise.

Enterprise isn't so bad once you get to the end of the 2nd season (when they ran out of unused Voyager stories and had to come up with actual new stuff) but yeah -- before that there's not much worth watching.

DS9 has been in pretty high demand. It's a shame that it wasn't more popular during its original run and only caught on after it ended; it was a pretty damn good TV show and eclipses all of the other series. Fortunately I have all of the series on DVD ... somewhere around here.

Paulguy's Post configuration
Voyager is a guilty pleasure. Sure it's stupid as hell, but it's still a fun little sci-fi romp.

EDIT: Kind of like batman and robin.

Well then, so much for that. Nice to know the Canadian Netflix is shit.

I actually put Voyager in a quite close second with DS9. It was what originally got me into Star Trek and I think was the first Star Trek that I watched, beginning to end.

Voyager was my favorite Star Trek series, seconded by TNG. Never really watched DS9, though I've been considering it lately.

Not a Star Trek fan but I did enjoy the last movie that was made.

Hubby has every Star Trek episode ever on DVD (burned copies). The CD case is freaking heavy.
