And it looks like K-team regained their eyesight in Panel5 but D.Dino didn't, should I be concerned (that the enemy might not recover)

Of course, Pokemon don't recover from temporary status changes until the end of the battle.
Though it'd be nice if Flash affected trainers too, then it wouldn't be useless! (Or just lower accuracy sharply, really)

... Is Dark Dino derping in panel 3?

Also, not all comics solely or even primarily revolve around comedy. Some change the proportion of drama to comedy over time, even.

Besides, the fight is the comic! It's very amusing and nostalgic for us Pokefans. I think it's great the way Peardian incorporates so many videogames into this one long strip, chock full of in-jokes and clever comments. I wonder what moves Caesar will use to finish it off. I'm betting Solarbeam, though something like Rapid Spin or Spike Cannon would be appropriate too. Now, as a budding trainer, will BG catch the wild Dark Dino-Rhino?

What I want is them to scan Caeser.

I know it is part Psychic (or some similar new type such as "Light" or something sharing weakness to Dark that can be affected by Normal-type moves, as the announcer said that Take Down missed instead of how it outright doesn't affect it) and not part Bug nor Steel. It has a high Defense, possibly a decent Sp. Defense, and if it does win decent Attack.

What I don't get is why wasn't he affected by Growl. Probably it has Clear Body or something.

Also did it go the other way to make up for the lost Rollout turn? (So it has 60BP)

@Nettlekid: Glad you enjoy the Pokemon references. I do try to give some love to as many games as I can and not just the Mario series.
@Reshiram: It seems you've thought this through even more than I have! Yes, Caeser is meant to be Psychic type, due in part to the Japanese name for the type and also its relation to dark type. I left the effect of Growl as implied to help the joke flow better. I didn't really think of an ability for him.

Psychic gets used often enough for things that could use "light" in Pokémon anyway.
