I downloaded the nitro explorer 1.2 and when I try to start the nitroexplorer.exe, all I hear is the windows warning sound and nothing happens..
I tried the older versions too, but they had the same problem..
What should I do?

I have windows xp pro with service pack 2 and i downloaded the Visual Basic 6.0 SP5: Run-Time Redistribution Pack and it still does not work...

Do you get any error message?
Can you run other VB-made tools, and if no, does the same thing happen? (a few that come to mind are EliteMap, Zero Fission and my NSMB editor)

I don't get any error messages which is the weirdest thing, because I can hear the error sound..
I tried NSMB editor 2.2 and it works.

Are you using an admin account? If yes, try going to C:\Windows\System32 and check if you have the COMCTL32.ocx and COMDLG32.ocx files there.

Try extracting this into C:\Windows\System32 then: http://www.sendspace.com/file/n90zqn
Then go to Start > Run and type: regsvr32 comctl32.ocx
Once you've done that, it should hopefully work fine.

Now it works! 
Thank you so much.
Now I can use Rockman.exe 5 DS Twin Leaders sounds in MegaMan Battle Network 5 Double Leaders DS(English voiceover sucks)
