My grandpa on my dad's side died before I was born unfortunately. He seemed like a great man and I would have really liked to meet him...

My grandma on my dad's side also died about 5 or 6 years ago, on my half-birthday. That I was upset about. Even though I saw her only twice in my life I believe because she lived in La Paz, Bolivia, it didn't matter. I was still upset.

I know what you're going through right now. It'll hurt for some time but healing will begin.

Yeah, my first grandparent passed away when I was.. 13 or so. It's definitely a hard time, especially if you're pretty attached to them.

Remember, its okay to cry. But try to remember him for the good times you had, and what a good person (to you, and everyone around you) he was.

Because of a brain tumour, day by day, I stood at the end of my grandpa's hospital bed whilst he slowly forgot everyone he loved and cared about, including me, only at the end to see him die of multiple seizures and blood clots in his brain, right in front of me. I'd rather he'd just been hit by a car, because watching someones life just pour away is a horrible thing to do.

	I lost my grandparents on my dad's side before I was born. I did however lose my grandpa on my mom's side right after I was born... So all I have left is a Grandma. I really can't relate to you but I can sure ell it's going to be quite a loss. 	My grandpa died of a heart attack when I was around 5, then my grandma of cancer when I was 12 or so. Best of luck to you though. Remembering the good times always helps ____________________

My remaining grandparent, my grandma (Dad's side) is the only one left. My Mom's side Grandpa died but a few months ago. However, one of that Grandpa's brothers, the elder brother, remains alive, and is on his way to being 100! Ironic, too, as my Grandpa on that side was the youngest brother. ____________________
