Not like it matters, we don't have any prisons anyway.

In Metania, all drugs are legal, there are no prisons, cars can have rocket launchers attached to them and people can blow up whatever is in their way on their way to work.

All weapons are legal, killing people with said weapons is legal, eating the people is legal, ritual sacrifice of anything to anything is legal, no police force exists, and corporations are allowed to do whatever they feel like, as long as it doesn't involve curtailing people's rights to the above.

Eek! I legalized terrorism as a means of political protest, and this caused my political freedoms to skyrocket... whoops.

On the plus side, I am now a "Scandinavian Liberal Paradise", and all corruption mysteriously disappeared. (Apparently all the corrupt politicians were blown up) And on the unrelated front, I get a capital city.

"Multiple wives? Excellent!" says passer-by Konrad Johnson. "Presumably we will allow multiple husbands, as well. And gay marriages, of course. In fact, now is probably the time for the government to butt out of marriage altogether. Let people marry their cats, if they want."

From a debate on polygamy.

Apparently my citizens can marry cats now.

Had an issue where citizens were bitching about roads being unsightly and rather bumpy (like roller coasters the title said), and I chose the position to not do crap about it, just tell private business to handle it, hell toll them if you want to.

Economy jumped up 25 points as a result.

...Huh.

Apparently, I have the second-smartest citizens in Jul. The question of why, exactly, those citizens choose to stay in Imajinistan if they're so smart was not answered.

I just got a new cause of death- "People's Bird Attack". The odd thing is, I'm not exactly sure what triggered this cause of death...

I just joined up, and am the weakest country in jul. Hooray!

http://www.nationstates.net/nation=the_me3_legacy

The Rogue Nation of The Me3 Legacy is a fledgling, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the socialist government, which grants its people the freedom to do whatever they like so long as it doesn't involve getting richer than anybody else or challenging the government.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, corrupt, socially-minded morass -- is effectively ruled by the Department of Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 39%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Pizza Delivery.

Crime is moderate. The Me3 Legacy's national animal is the Zebra, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Legacy Dollar.

You didn't. In fact, nobody in Jul has any WA endorsements.

You just got third because the system doesn't recognize ties, even if everyone is tied for first/last.
