I just ate a really tasty dinner of three cheese slices of pizza. After that tasty bunch, I topped it of with a bowl of Neopolitan icecream, a great dinner to finish of the weekend with!

Leftover rice always means rice and fried egg and sausage in the morning. The egg was fried in sunflower oil and seasoned with white pepper, sea salt, paprika and parsley flakes. Sunny side up eggs are always a delight to have and this was really no different. I think it's actually better to fry eggs in a relatively tasteless vegetable oil like sunflower oil since it preserves the delicate eggy flavor better that way. Taste-wise all brown rice adds is a mild nutty taste while texturally it totally contrasts the egg which is probably this is such a groovy combination.

The sausage patties are pretty good stuff but nowhere as flavorful as the sausage links I usually get. In a way I kind of regret getting so many patties since I have to be just-so-faithful to my sausages until they're gone. So I'll probably be eating them until the middle of next month.

Oh wow, Sofi! I thought I was the only one who has had rice for breakfast I love rice! And I can't wait for noon-ish so I can make some today! One day without eating rice is far too much xD

For breakfast today, I had a ham and cheese sandwich. I had no leftover rice.

For lunch, I ate rice with a grilled chicken sandwich. The combo tasted great! I drank Fanta and ate a few chocolate chip cookies as well. It was a fine lunch, indeed.

For dinner, I ate spaghetti with meatballs with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. One of my favorite Italian foods. It tasted great! There are some leftovers which I'll probably eat tomorrow breakfast or dinner.

Ooh, that sounds nice, Paralax! I love Italian food.

For dinner I had the same thing I had for lunch except no eggs and I had green beans as well. I just finished drinking 500ml of milk.

Some chili with a bit of cheese. Kinda basic, kinda chewy, but filling.

Currently cooking some chicken burgers and chips. Not adventurous, but hey. It's tasty.

Especially with Maggi sauce.

What are you talking about? :T This isn't the first post where I mentioned having rice for breakfast.

This morning rice was not for breakfast. Instead I had two fried eggs, two sausage patties, two slices of buttered toast and a glass of Welch's 100% grape juice mixed with seltzer water with an essence of pomegranate. My last potato greened and I didn't feel like dealing with a green potato so no hash browns this morning. The eggs were good but a bit messy but my mind is somewhere else entirely right now.

@Sofi: I probably didn't realize it was breakfast on your earlier posts, then.

This must be my earliest breakfast in a long time, but I'm starving! I'm having a bowl of cereal ... and I ran out of cereal

I might not eat eggs later today, I don't know.

I ate a salad and a chicken sandwich today for lunch. It was fine, and an okay lunch. But for some unknown reason it just didn't taste as good as usual. Hopefully dinner fares better for me.

May I ask what exactly bologna is? Is it a type of sausage? Never heard of it before

It's a cold cut, thinly sliced for a sandwich... I have no idea what's in it (beyond "meat"), but Wikipedia claims it is finely ground meat and lard (to the point where none of the lard is actually visible).

Also, I bought some canned pasta, but now I realize that I don't have a can opener I sure hope the kitchen has one...

You've probably heard it pronounced bah-low-nee, It took me a while to realize that it had a weird spelling.
