Recently midday snacks have consisted of tortilla chips and salsa followed by a nice glass of milk washing down all the spice left in the mouth. For just about the longest time, this was a delicacy in my household reserved for snacks at other people's houses. My parents themselves would never buy tortilla chips or salsa.

But now I'm living alone so I'm enjoying this wonderful Mexican snack food on my own. It's a very fun eat.

I just ate a chicken sandwich for lunch with cucumbers, olives, and all the like. It tasted great! Most of my meals taste good, it's quite rare to have a bad meal. I'm quite lucky in that aspect

I'm having a lot of fun munching on some popcorn. It is really good, especially the really buttery pieces. Although, it's not like at the movie theater where they pretty much drown the popcorn in butter. This snack is quite enjoyable since I don't eat it often.

I just ate a batch of fish sticks. At first I didn't think that they were so good, but after a few they started tasting good for some reason. I'll eat dinner in an hour or two.

An Amy's Country Cheddar Bowl.

I love these things. My mom always gets them for me when she and my dad are going to be away for the evening, so I won't, you know, go without dinner.

(edited because i mixed up two organic-type brands: annie's, which makes a bunch of stuff but especially instant pasta and some of the best mac and cheese i've had, and amy's, which mostly makes frozen entrees.)

Supper was macaroni and cheese. Dessert (which I'm munching on now) is a nice bowl of Junior Mints.

Can you ever have enough of soft-boiled eggs? Maybe not or maybe this is just the dish's wonderful scrambled-or-sunny-side-up-eggs-every-morning monotony-breaking speaking. The eggs were served with hash browns and two mini breakfast sausage patties. Soft-boiled eggs mesh only okay with potatoes and they'd probably go a whole lot better with noodles like I normally eat them. They make fine standalone egg dishes too but the flavor of eggs, I think, is almost too delicate to be used as asparagus or toast dip as it's popular to do in the United Kingdom.

Tomorrow I'll probably return to scrambled eggs or sunny side up eggs. A delicious return home. : J

Instead of a sandwich for breakfast, I decided to have frosted flakes. It had been a while since I last ate cereal

Breakfast was mashed potatoes and gravy. It was a nice variant on the normal breakfast. It tasted great, as my meals seem to always taste that way

I had a homemade, stuffed crust Chicken Tikka and Chorizo pizza. So awesome.

On a related note, does anyone else think 'Metroid' when they see Chorizo?

Buffalo chicken wrap with provolone cheese, lite mayo, mustard, pickles, and avocado slices.

Wheat thins on the side, and some ginger ale to wash it down with. For dessert? Pretzel M&Ms or Jelly Bellys. Haven't decided which yet.

Normally, I would eat rice 5 or 6 days a week (usually twice each day). I was only complaining because it had become 7 days/week for a while now

As for me right now, I had noodles soaked in teriyaki sauce. It's only been a day but I already miss rice Maybe I'll make some tomorrow.

Beef stroganoff... this one of my favorite of my mother's recipes, I had specifically requested it even though she usually doesn't make it during the "warmer" months... delicious.
