All I can say is that this game needs a decent multiplayer server. It's nigh unplayable when an entire goblin horde is constantly teleporting into your face.

I'm pretty sure they're working towards dedicated servers but the early release quashed that for the initial release.

Once a dedicated server comes out I'll set up the current world on my VPS if possible.

Paulguy's Post configuration
This game is supposedly really popular, but I had to submit the compatibility data for the wine appdb? How does that make sense?

I suspect you were the only person that stopped playing the game long enough to submit anything.

Pretty much this for me, too.

I dunno if I'd like it quite as much, but hell, if someone's got an extra it'd be worth a shot.

I really need to play more SP in this and upgrade my equipment and abilities. Still this game is fun as hell

Am I crazy for hoping tools and armor become breakable/lost after death in a future update?

It seems kind of silly that the only penalty for death is being returned to spawn with less money...

Sunfury's pretty bitchin' when it comes to boss battles (five eye runs in one night :smugdra:.)

Game's great but it feels just a bit lacking in content at the moment. It's about as long as Super Metroid, and plays about as well as it does.

The one bug that's really gotten me is that dungeon stone/walls doesn't count as far as bedrooms go :/

Still looking forward to the extra content that's supposedly planned.

From what I have heard, some items are so extraordinarily rare that losing them on death would be a huge turn off that people might stop playing. Also, forgive me if I am wrong, but if you lose everything, isn't it impossible to continue? Like you NEED an ax to get wood, and a pick to get stone and dirt and such?
Now, losing common items, and having some bound to you and you will not lose on death...

Got off work, played this for a bit.

A map would be nice, as would some sort of basic-functions manual. Managed to blunder through though.

Only died to a basic green slime once! Go me!

That wouldn't stop me! Back in my day, we punched the trees! Young little whippersnappers nowadays... with your loud music...

Well, no, I don't mean one-of-a-kind/rare items (or Minecraft's "whoops, back to square one" approach ), but maybe the more common/renewable things that still take some amount of effort to get. There just has to be some incentive for staying alive.

Paulguy's Post configuration
Money might become more important in later versions. Selectively dropping certain items and not others is kind of silly and obvious. Travel time can be annoying enough if you traveled far, or getting lost/not being able to find where you were if you need to get back to some good loot that you found before getting killed. The inconvenience is enough for me to want to stay alive.

I think having to make your way back to where you were is enough incentive to stay alive.

I use my Bed, it's comfortable!

Also, here's my house (so far) on a friend's server:

It's not really complete, and I plan to upgrade the living shit out of it! (maybe replace all the stone blocks with .. better stone blocks?)

And that Dryad is my Waifu~
She won't leave me alone.
