Same happened to me with gmail... it was already taken, but on most other sites, my username is pretty original. I don't think there are any forums with a user called ParaLax, but if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me (unless you randomly screw around and create a user called "ParaLax" on 10 different forums). |

Pokemon? No... Is there a Pokemon called ParaLax? I just got it because of the scientific "parallax" meaning how the viewpoints in the distance don't change as fast as the one's up close. So I would be a user with many views, lol. Then because I like to hang back, relax, and love life, I changed the double L to one L for it to be Para"Lax". |

"ParaLax" is a name for a Snorlax with Body Slam on it, which has a chance of Paralysis status. Hence the name "ParaLax".

In the case that ZeroOne is taken (or some variation of it, I.E., with space or underscore), then I use DarkLight. But I've only ever needed to use that twice, happily.

Funny story,
Back in 2007, I was trying to make myself a hotmail account. For some reason every name I can think of was taken. So I kept on typing random names until I came across this one. For some reason I decided to register here with that name, and since the name is soooooo unique, this is now the only username I go by everywhere on the internet.

Bloodstar isn't taken very often, I don't think Elebreed is taken at all (aside from on skype, sigh), and skateboarder11 is probably at least fairly common.
I only use the latter in places I registered before mid-2005, though. Amusingly, one of those is actually my gmail... so it's still somewhat alive.

I'm not an expert Competitive Pokemon Player (TM), but I'm pretty sure it'd be a Paralyz-oriented Snorlax, so with Body Slam. Y'know, like how there's CurseLax, which is a Snorlax with Curse? (Iunno why paralysis would be so special, though.)
EDIT- Well, better participate in the discussion anyways. Delpolo's an anagram of my middle name, and out of the handful of places where I've tried to use it, the only place where it was taken was YouTube (by some random guy with a single spanish video for some reason), which is why I used DeIpolo there, almost visually identical in some fonts.
