The GameBoy Color version of it says "It is the millenium" instead, so there always is time for Klax

It'll also be the nineties again in 2090, if we're still alive by then

But really, all puzzle games are good, imo

Has anybody tried to play Klax now? Will it like crash or something because it isn't the 90s anymore?

Thankfully, Klax actually ends up thinking it's 19111.

You really think primitive 20th-century humans could have developed KLAX?

Or even better, it'd think it's 19921, with the 21 being the units digit only ... so we're still in the nineties, not only the 1900's

In retrospect, I find it rather funny how people had a tendency to place really high-tech science-fiction futures only 10-20 years into the future. Wasn't Mega Man supposed to have happened last decade, too?

Paulguy's Post configuration
Chrono Trigger: Day of Lavos: 1999
Robotron 2084: Robot invasion: 2084 <-Probably not reasonable, but more reasonable than Chrono trigger predicting something happening 4 years after it came out.

What did Snatcher predict for a year, or did it?

Terra: I thought Mega Man took place in 20XX.

EDIT: Oh, so it did start in 200X. My bad.

Keep in mind, there are other calendars than the Gregorian Calendar. For all we know, the event(s) that these calendars are based upon might not have even happened yet.
