Playing dungeon crawl stone soup, fuck yeah!

My half dragon venom mage is doing great! 8D

I just killed Yiuf as well as beat the sewer dungeon. I also found an altar of Cheibriados early on, and as it seamed like a good choice at the time I decided to pray there! :p

So far I have picked up some rather sweet loot I must admit! This is so far my best run of the game (true story.)

Hydra Castle Labyrinth.

That the item descriptions are in Japanese means I get to guess what they do. So it kinda reminds me to when I played through a bootleg Milon's Secret Castle when I was little.
Otherwise, it's La Mulana/Maze of Galius/Metroidvania #123 all over again. But hey, that's always fun.

If I actually could read Japanese would help though.

I've been playing around with Zelda Classic and ZQuest. It seems that they have made a lot of progress in the last two years since I last used it ... though it's still beta.

It's been so long since I last used it that everything's unfamiliar now. But as for a game, I started playing Ganon's Claim by Dark Flame Wolf ... it's pretty neat but I haven't really gotten too far yet.

I gave up on both, Zelda Classic and Oracle of Seasons. The former because I lack the patience and the latter because 25 gasha seeds later I still haven't found that piece of heart.

So I guess both were because of lack patience.

It seems like it. LTTP has the pieces in those minigames in the Dark World that you have to do like 500 times to get it (especially that digging one), Oracles have the Gasha Seed piece, Minish Cap has the damn figurine piece. I can't think of any in Link's Awakening, actually.

You nailed the rest though. The digging one is irritating. The gasha one is quite annoying. The figurines one is absurdly ridiculous.
I don't even know which am I missing in OoT.

Pokemon Emerald... quite embarrassing story

I was telling some of my friends how Pokemon is stupid to play when you are 17 and you are about to hit legal age... so they give me Pokemon Emerald and guess what? I loved it First Pokemon game that I've played since I was 9 and I've gotten about half-way through it. I don't play it often, just a few minutes every few days.

Meh, I'm 22 and I still play pokemon. There's some really complex mechanics in it children won't get anyway, it's like any other hobby.

I just tried Darksiders after owning it for two months and not playing it. A fun little hack-n-slash title, although I don't know if I would have spent $20 on it. $5 however was worth it.

Telling people to ditch games they enjoy because of some made-up bullcrap age barrier is stupid and makes you look like a tool.

If I was forced to give up "kiddy" franchises in favor of mature crap like Call of Duty, I'd just quit gaming entirely.

Rez on the PS2. I don't care how short it is, it has so much replay value in the sheer fact that it is such an epic game.

Funny how you post that after the user with the Pokemon theme.
I take with this you've learned how it's stupid to not play/like something because you are something or other.

Also I have a Valkyrie in NetHack that may get killed at the drawbridge get killed by ants in minetown get a terrible luck penalty in Sokoban, then get killed for whatever else reason complete the quest.

I finished a few levels of "The Trick House" in Pokemon Emerald and really... I'm at a dead halt in the game. I don't know how to progress and I've just been scouring the world for new things for hours I don't want to cheat and use a walkthough, but I actually want to get to a point where I'm actually progressing in the game.

Try heading north using the path below the cycling road to Mauville city. If you've made it to there already, just keep going north along route 111. Don't feel bad about getting stuck there, I just finished this game about a week and a half ago and I was stuck at many points, inculding this one.
