Trying to figure out why some women bathrooms have condom machines (or i guess the lack of condom machines seen in men bathroom), I ran across this nice page. The person makes some kickass comments and facts about public restrooms.

Automatic urinals are one of the coolest inventions. How do they do that? I like to try to fool ‘em, and move from side to side if no one’s watching me. They’re usually too smart. Amazing. That’s technology at it’s best.
This, I don't get. The automatic sinks and urinals always work great, but the automatic toilets are always terrible. They'll flush while you're just standing there motionless, or whenever you open or close the door. They always go off at least 3 times when I use them. I hate that.

Condom machines always struck me as a good idea. It's convenient, and people who are too embarrassed to actually buy one can just get one from the dispenser. Usually I see them in truck stops and the like where there's no other place to get one nearby.

Also, is this guy blind? Yellow on light blue = eww no. The "survey" thing is broken too.

I almost never use urinals unless the bathroom is empty or there are no free stalls, as it always feels like people are watching me.

The thing I don't like is hand dryers. Sure, they're better for the environment and keep the bathroom cleaner and all that, but they don't dry your hands unless you're willing to spend a long time in front of them.

I can safely say I have never used a urinal in my life. The main reason is because I don't know how. Like, I don't know what the fuck to do, piss on the back wall of it or piss on the bottom.

Totally ignoring that last post....

I like how the author of this commends troughs and the efficiency of people standing very close together, then immediately complains that all urinals don't have walls inbetween them.

Also, there's a bar/grill here that has one way mirrors at the urinals in the men's bathroom so you can continue to watch the game while pissing. Now that's awesome.

On the topic of condom machines in women's bathrooms, the men's locker room at my school has a tampon machine. What they were thinking when they did that I have no idea.
