Geez, guys, why didn't anyone let me know I double-posted? That's like walking outdoors with clothes with still tags on them. I am so embarrassed now.

I had an interesting night.

My laptop's num lock LED cover totally snapped off like the day after I got it which really sucked but yesterday I fixed it by super-gluing the broken off parts back together while holding the smallest piece with nail clippers as tweezers. Then I snapped it back into place and it's all perfect now. I am so handy.

In my dorm, we have two wings, with a courtyard in between them.
Two of the guys from 4A were doing a choreographed dance, in the study lounge, in the giant glass window, for all of B side to see, in their briefs. Which they had converted to thongs via wedgies. And are now calmly sitting in their chairs, doing work, acting as if nothing strange ever happened.

I needed to laugh at something ridiculous and inane like that. Thank you 4A boys!

Speaking of hilarious things, there is a massive queue of things I need to watch or rewatch (mostly comedy), that I have to get through. Episode of Regular show, almost all of Adventure Time, and some others.

Thanks, insomnia. You're just what I needed at the beginning of a new term, 2 weeks from the exams.

I haven't slept at all and I don't get home until 5:15, wherein I must stay awake and look after my dog. That's assuming I can get through Physics with the most boring teacher ever, then Biology, which is going to be a bitch because that's the test I have in two weeks and I'm not even awake to revise it. And to top off the crap-sandwich that is my day, I have Chemistry until 5:00, which is hard to grasp even when I'm fully rested.

Please God. Be kind. Set the college on fire, but make it small enough that it only takes today to repair...

I found the cure to insomnia... my writing class lectures! :specialed:

Who thought that talking for 50 minutes about a two page essay, and dissecting every tiny detail about it, would have been a good idea?

Did Physics, then went to biology revision. Answered every question correctly and walked out like this guy, while listening to Mute City.

Slept right through Chemistry and didn't wake up until 6pm

I'm gonna be takin' a nap today when I get home from subbing today. Especially if today goes the same as yesterday went. That was a wholly frustrating day.

One more final exam tomorrow, and I'm done with the school year!!! Given that I can score a 40 and still pass the class with an A ... I'm not worried

Yayyyy!

I made scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning for myself and three friends that stayed over night. I used eight eggs and cracked them into this copper-bottom saucepan and then beat them along with two tablespoons of butter. The problem is when I was done my pan was totally covered in egg in the bottom that won't scrape off, no matter what.

So I coated it in ketchup and let it sit for an hour or two.

Ketchup is pretty famous for being a pot cleaning agent because it's acidic. That's why it's so sour-tasting. What you do is you take out your favorite bottle of ketchup and squirt it all over the bottom of the pot and then leave the pot on the counter for an hour or so.

After that I rinsed the pot and tried scrubbing again and everything came off easy-peasy-cookies-'n-pie. : J

Dusted off an old USB CD-RW drive I plan on selling in the near future, but I'm running a few tests first to make sure it works:

1: burn an Ubuntu CD-R and boot from/install it in VMWare
2: burn a music CD and play it in VLC as well as a physical CD player
3: burn a CD-RW, still Ubuntu, and boot again in VMWare
4: erase the CD-RW and try music on it, on both VLC and an actual CD player
5: erase the CD-RW a second time

So far, step 1 seems to be going well

I'm thinking of wiping my iPod completely and starting its database from ground up and then installing Rockbox and set my theme to have pictures of vinyl records all over the "Now Playing" screen. I could become the queen of the town with my independently developed open source firmware-loaded iPod and impress all of my friends by emulating Game Boy games on it.

I need a glass of juice.

Well, you could REALLY impress them and run some old ZX Spectrum games on Rockbox too.
