I almost became a hockey player but I was just too skinny to do it without breaking into tiny pieces.

It's too bad, because I've had plenty of ice skating and fist-fighting experience. Oh well, my teeth must thank me for not doing that.

The entire time that I could have joined sports, I was too chunky and out of shape to do so.

Then I'd just get picked on by the sports kids to the point of completely hating sports.

And now, you know why I hate. Unfounded, yes, but meh. Whatever.

My old campus is quite well known for their hockey team.

I never went to a game though, except for when I was working at the gift shop place.

I think my old school had a few teams, but they were just an afterthought and not well-known at all outside the school.

Although that school was mostly engineering, architecture, and related majors, not really a general university.

Coincidentally, I guess, UMaine's Engineering Dept. is the oldest thing there. It was actually the thing that the college was founded on.

My high school had a few teams. I didn't know anything about most, their football team was okay I hear, their baseball team pretty much sucked (as far as I know, they didn't win a single game one year), but... their basketball team, in 2008-2009, went all the way and won the state championship. I regret not going to any of those games sooner, and I'm still pissed at my mother for not letting me go to the championship.

They were cheap to go to, too! Only set me back $5 a game, I think, and the entire time every time was a blast. I dunno if I could really keep as much interest in the games anymore, though, since everyone I knew will be gone from the team by next year.
