Therefore, by lowering the need for new posts by recycling old ones, there will ultimately be fewer subjects in existence, as there will be fewer brought up to meet the anticipated need. We also have plenty of space left for threads (Jul produces enough threads in approximately 4 years to use 12772 thread IDs, 3.729% of the total posts of the board), which create discussions that are utilized to create posts within said threads. They can also be placed into forums such as Display Case and Trash once they are finished. Due to all of this, I "saved" the forums by not recycling any posts or threads today. P.S. For those who are curious, recycling memes breaks at about even with introducing new memes, and recycling forum games takes far less effort than thinking up new forum games, so not all recycling is bad for the forums. |
