I got bored and looked at ye olde activity chart out of boredom (laundry's washing).

My hunch was confirmed; this place tends to settle down on the weekends and spikes back up on weekdays. Is it just because everyone's flooded with busywork over the weekend? It seems kind of silly at first glance.

So go on, share your suspicions and/or what you think, maybe someone else can figure it out

My schedule tends to fluctuate over a period of a few weeks. Last week, I had Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. This week, I have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off.

I'm sure the time of day matters, as it tends to be more active on the forums during the afternoon than during the late night/early morning.

For me it's the opposite.


Weekends are my time to relax and do next to nothing. During the weekdays, my do-nothingness is punctuated by class and homework.



Sorry, though, can't think of an explanation, unless people spend their weekends somewhere besides the internet.

This half term I only have 1 class on 2 days so I am really active on weekdays. Every other Weeken, I go to a place where I can barely post and on a lot of weekends, I am busy with events :/

No actually for me, I can't get things like yard work or house work done over the week. We have no time at all since we're so busy. So when the weekend comes we pretty much go nuts trying to get as much done on Saturday. (For those who remember me not talking in IRC Saturday... well I was cleaning my the whole time.) Sunday comes, we either keep working or just take a break.

Same, it would definitely be some really high number. In general, the reason I'm more active here during weekdays is because I don't have time to do more time-consuming things during the week, so my weekend is mainly pointed towards gaming, not posting.

I know I've done that at least five times. That doesn't count the time I accidentally hit Preview Post when I wasn't logged in and it deleted my very long post, which I had to reconstruct from memory.
