Win7 Paint.

Yeah, they've finally added the ability to undo more than 3 times. However, they've removed image transparency, which is what I used ALL THE TIME.

I also know a few blind people who use Windows Narrator.

I find myself using the Windows Calculator a lot. True, I could just use my cell phone, but I never remember to use the damn thing half the time. If I need to do some price checking (which I do quite often), then I have the Calculator on my Quick Launch bar and I just toss it up from there.

I also find myself using Notepad for jotting down quick notes when I don't have paper handy. I have a file on my desktop specifically for that purpose.

Least useful? I'm not all that sure quite yet honestly. Mostly if it's useless, I tend to delete it. Though not if it's Windows, because I always expect even the stupid programs to be vital to run my computer and if I uninstall it, it'll crash the computer.

Notepad is pretty useful, at least for me. Doesn't stop me from using notepad++ though.

There's also the Application Installation Wizard. First, it's pretty well hidden (Control Panel -> Software -> Install a new application), plus why would you need a wizard to install programs? It's essentially Next, Next, Next, Next and Accept License, even neanderthals could do that.

I have my copy of Notepad totally replaced with Notepad2, which I think is as fair and no-frills as I need it to be. When I say "totally replaced", I mean I went through C:\Windows\System32 and stuff and replaced all instances of notepad.exe. It's sweet stuff.

Notepad++ is a bit much.

Hm, a worthy foe of Edlin, especially since Edlin at least does something, even if it does it horridly.

If installation wizard is part of msiexec, it's a pretty useful program.
