So, I spent all day talking to Bloodstar and now I have an iBook G4 on the way in the mail. Guys, don't talk to Bloodstar if you don't want to end up making Apple purchases.

I totally don't mind, though, because this means I can hang out at Starbucks and not lug around this totally clunky and embarrassing and so-not-stylish Toshiba laptop.

I however, have failed.

Until you factor in the fact that I am dirt poor for even a used PowerPC. Hell, even a used PC with a Mac OS on it is too pricey for me.

It's really the hardware, but still.

It's a Compaq LTE Lite 4/25 E. That circular thing on the side of the screen is the trackball. The buttons are on the back of the screen.

The keyboard stopped working today, and it looks like it's finally falling apart from old age. I guess I don't need a new belt for the floppy drive anymore.

That's pretty awesome nonetheless- the trackpad/button combo is interesting, and the keyboard actually looks a lot more robust than a modern laptop.

Try taking the temperature again to see if it's actually right. 94.9Β° shouldn't really be that bad but if you're worried you could ask a doctor. If anything it's probably some minor virus.
