I would too if someone bought me everything I wanted and I got free food and actually liked the person I was with.

I'd only do such a thing if I had a concrete purpose for it, otherwise I'd probably go batty with boredom.

I'd do it if my boyfriend wants to, else no. And he doesn't like to go shopping without a purpose, so that won't happen.

Malls bore me, It's not like I ever buy anything. I'd only go for the day if my girlfriend asked me to, which she hasn't yet.

I don't know, I kind of love seeing all the people and things. I bought some clothes though.

Also, I had a very specific set of stuff in mind, so it was totally like a scavenger hunt, which makes things more fun!

There's no mall anywhere near me. The closest one you have to drive about close to an hour and a half to get to.

They've always been kinda like theme parks to me, in a kind of way. They're just...interesting and just loaded with neat stuff. Unfortunately, the Bangor Mall has been falling out of the interesting stuff for a while. Nowadays I just kinda hit Gamestop and Hot Topic primarily. A good third of the stores are just crappy women's fashion B.S. =/

I just go downtown; where I can go to SEVERAL malls.

Actually, just walking downtown - especially in summer - is quite nice.

I really need to just come back up your way, Colin, if that's the case.

Everywhere else seems so exciting right now. X_x

Well, most downtown areas are like that. I really do need to go to Vermont one day; I could definitely spend a whole day peacefully going through the downtown Burlington area.

I like downtowns Tall buildings are cool, and there are a lot of places in a small area.

Heh. I personally used to be paralytically terrified of heights. I still prefer to be on the ground floor of buildings, though.

I'm a much happier person with open space....but I like my urban convenience. Argh. Conundrums.

I had a fear of heights at one time, when I lived in a 1-story house and went to a 1-story school and rarely encountered any taller buildings anywhere.

Then I moved to more urban areas for college and afterward and got used to living and being higher up, and by now my fear of heights is pretty much gone. I got scared when I was climbing the Ulmer Münster (the world's tallest church) in Germany, though. That thing is as tall as like a 50-story building and the windows are completely open, no glass or anything.

I remember the first time I went to Boston. I was in...my sophomore year of high school, I believe. I remembered looking up at the tall buildings and I was just...thoroughly amazed! The perspective of the buildings from where I was made it look like they were gonna fall on top of me the way they were tilting, but it was just amazing!

I also got to ride on a subway for the first time and I felt so stupidly-touristy city-like. I think that's the moment that I really, really fell in love with big city life.

Boston is amazing. Were you looking at the Prudential building? That building is fucking looming everywhere you go.

Well, in my case the CBD is height limited for the buildings so it doesn't get too uh, high. Tokyo was an experience. Felt like a tiny little ant person.

Also:

Erghghgh. Great local. Divide by 10 for overseas.

I don't even remember what part of Boston I was in. I can honestly say that I haven't been there to tourist in almost a decade. =(

This isn't counting all the times I've been to South Station and Logan Airport. The latter of which I will be hitting again when I go to Otakon this year.
