I am so tired this morning. I stayed up till 2AM.
That's why I don't get up at 7-8 AM.
Then again, it's Saturday night and I have a tendency to shut down early through no fault of my own. Damn end of work week.

I am sure you will get in wherever you wanted to; you seem smart enough. |

Well, that's the unfortunate part. See, while I have above-average intelligence, the only thing said schools want are grades. I have a 3.6ish thing and currently they're cutting everything and I'm competing with these crazy immigrant students who came here to do nothing but live for school and get absurdly high grades.
This and my school record isn't really 'complete', I.E. missing physics, potentially missing chemistry (though the schools I picked don't require it), and missing the last part of Calculus. I just want to do those parts at the university level, something which may even be acceptable, except...
Enrollment and seats are being cut across the board here. I could very well get in and just be told 'Whoops, we don't have space for you.' Well, that'd be great and all, except a position in a waiting list isn't going to serve as a house over my head after my family's house is sold/goes under.
This is why I'm so bitter, anyway. I was given this intelligence without asking for it, and yet at the same time it seems like it exists to just be wasted, because 'The System' won't have space for it. If I were one of those crazy cartoon characters I'd be crushing a glass with my bare hands by now, because it's just immensely frustrating.
As for sleeping, I sleep at random intervals, sometimes 2-9:30, sometimes 2-11:30, sometimes 4-12:00, sometimes 1-9:00. It's kinda random.

My boyfriend who was born in China, has never gotten anything below an A in his life. He scored 2400 on the SATs and on the 99.9 percentile on the MCATs.
He makes me feel pretty dumb sometimes. Anyway, it truly is amazing how people from other countries come here and succeed incredibly. I've been to the NIH several times now; it's full of Indians and Asians. |

See, I am like, second rate. I get mostly A's, but have had some bad encounters with a few classes. My intelligence, my abilities, they allow me to do well compared to other indigenous students.
But I can't compete with people who have their life shaped entirely around school. Alternatively, I don't want to, because I don't see school as a slave labor experience.
...The problem is, my romantic ideals about knowledge prevent me from doing well enough to succeed at the top shelf game, but... I consider it almost worse if I were to do that, as if I'd just have no life. Just think of it this way: with my A's and B's I have only time for internet, now my next choice would be to cut off internet and do nothing but school. As it is I'm going slowly insane, I couldn't take being unable to talk to people somewhere, anywhere, and just having nothing but endless classes. Ugh.

Well here's a subject change! Prolly a weird one at that.
I've been a fan of pro wrestling for almost 16 years now. I've had some strong feelings of wanting to get trained up in it, because it's a thing that, albeit it's a freakin' weird business, there's just something about it that I love and that keeps me drawn back into it. I've always wanted to get more of an appreciation for the business by learning how to do it. That and, hey, if I were kickin' around in the indies or somethin', that would be kinda cool too. It wouldn't pay, but damn, yeah. I genuinely love it.
It's just a shame it's so grueling too. =/
I dunno. Still wish I could, but I don't really have a way of doing such a thing. That and...I dunno if such a place is my element personality-wise. =/

| Man, I had that dream once. Then Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit died. And that pretty much turned me off to the idea! |
