It loaded for me right away. Try setting the quality to 'low' if it doesn't work.

I waited about 15 minutes, only to determine anything which took longer than that to load would probably explode my browser, given my memory vs. connection speed.

I think it's just on a bad server- once it loaded for me, it didn't seem to use too much memory.

Yeah, I've played this before, and it's actually pretty enjoyable, but this seems to be an older version.

If I'm correct, it's the update from four days ago, but I think I like it better than the more recent versions. It seems like everything since this version has been pretty unnecessary.
