I just picked up an axew since I found one, gonna nick name it later when I double checked the spelling. :p

And I just got my first legendary (you can get it as long as you have surf) in a basic pokeball, OFC. 1x ratio ball is the only way to go for me when it comes to legendarys.


And I'm STILL not strong enough to beat the crap out of the E4, granted I'm not item spamming like they do, but I do feel that it should be easy when I have two pokemons that are over 10 levels higher then theirs. :/

Gold and silver had a huge fan base, since almost every pokemon fan love them, therefor, they knew people would buy it. R/S where not big hits, at all. Therefor they don't think if they will sell well if they remake them, therefor it might not be profitable to make remakes of them.

This is an industry, never forget that!

Yes kruto, but that same user base you're refering too would also buy a new game that is not a remake as well, since, like you said, they don't really care. But you maximize profits they would have to judge the costs of designing a new region vs the cost of remaking an old one and the fans who did not like the original and won't buy the remake. It's all about profits.

But to be perfectly clear, it's more the Japanese player base that matters to the makers, rather then the rest of the world. :p
