I just ate a pickle straight out of a jar and then I wondered, how many other people eat pickles straight of the jar? This is not a unique phenomenon, but I don't know if there's ever been an official poll on it.
So, it's okay, guys. You can tell the truth.
If you are in the pickle-eating closet, now's your chance to come out.
I wasn't aware this was anything to be embarrassed about! Sometimes I eat the "chip" style pickles out of the jar with a fork or toothpick--I mean just like, one or two, I don't sit down with the jar and a spoon and have a party or anything.

If I want to have a pickle as a snack, of course I'll eat it out of the jar... the only time it goes on a plate is if I'm having it on the side with a sandwich or something.

I used to hate pickles but now I eat them. I do eat them from the jar, like the flat ribbed kind. I don't like when they're mushy, though. They need to be crunchy.
I eat peanut butter straight from the jar, but not pickles. I only eat pickles when they come on McDonald's burgers and even then I'd rather not have them.
Okay, hah. I made this topic because my boyfriend keeps making fun of me for eating pickles out of the jar. He says he thinks it's weird.
I usually use chopsticks to eat pickles. If I feel like it, I might season it with some black pepper.
When you have a burger with a pickle spear on the side, how do you guys eat it? I usually just pick it up and eat it, but I'm totally not sure if this is what you're supposed to do.
