It happened between the times of 8:30 and 9:30 PM. So, for one hour at a time where it wouldn't be too inconvenient, but still worthwhile.

Good thing I have unlimited data on my AT&T plan. So far I've used 4184.68 MB and my billing cycle doesn't end until the 8th of April. Netflix and Pandora definitely use a lot of bandwidth.

4GB in a month ... is that a phone?

I usually do from 30 to 150~ a month. 90% of which doesn't stay in my HDD for long.

Gooot my new glasses today! And they make my eyes hurt. Not used to my vision being this clear.

Yeah, that's all from my iPhone. I don't use it for tethering at all. I stream movies and TV shows most of the day at work (I do database reporting so sometimes queries take a long time to run, nothing else to do). And when I'm not watching something on Netflix, I'm streaming music with Pandora or from my home collection with Zumocast.

I was planning this evening of tea and classical music and candles and reading before bed. The book I was going to read was American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, which I thought would have been really ironic and hilarious to read because it is totally incongruous with the upscale-ness of the evening, this irony being strangely fitting with the themes throughout the novel.

I ended up with just the book and the chapter I read featured the anti-hero protagonist mercilessly slaughtering a bum on the streets with a knife, all of this conveyed in great detail through the novel's stream-of-consciousness narrative.

What a way to end the day, I thought, and then suddenly I wondered if this was really a great book to be reading before you go to sleep.

Then I went to sleep.

I went to a university on a trip with my secondary school and one of them was a neurological department.

Prism glasses REALLY fuck with you. I winded myself falling down to avoid a tree that I swear just popped into existance.

The first time I got glasses, back in 2000, I was rather amazed at being able to clearly see the tops of trees and read book titles from across the room.

I'm in class right now.

The teacher is not, because of a sick day. I happened to check my email several minutes ago when I had been in before class for 20 minutes and no one had came.

I think I'm gonna be the only one here today.

At my college, if the professor didn't show up for 15 minutes, you could get up and leave. I suppose some particularly hard-ass teachers might penalize students for it, but it's the teacher's fault if they're that late without alerting the class, really

It was 15 mins in my high school, too, but that was a de facto rule. Some teachers would get really mad at us if we just left.

I think the idea is pretty acceptable, really. Going to class is a commitment for students and teachers.

At my high school, it was STAY FOR THE FULL 83 MINUTES REGARDLESS.

I should also mention that I hate that school and I hope it dies in a fire someday.

Geez, you got the short end of the stick on a lot of things like that, huh?

We only had like 50-minute classes. I can't imagine having 83-minute blocks. Our schedule was super-convoluted, though.

I think it's 10 minutes for professors and 15 minutes for doctors in my college. Or something like that...

I usually don't get up anyway, unless I really have something else to do.

We have 90 minute blocks for three periods, and an hour for every third lesson which is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

Seriously, Functional Skills ICT, every Wednesday, third period. Learning how to increase the size of an image in Word and the fucking =SUM function in Excel. Stuff I learned when I was 5. Come on...

Functional Skills ICT

Was the first class talking about the difference between left-clicking and right-clicking?
