This sounds like it would have a very high regulatory risk associated with it- at&t would be more than twice the size of the third-largest player (IIRC Sprint has around 60 million customers, correct me if I'm wrong), which would probably raise some alarm bells... but I'm not confident in that.
And having one (major) GSM player in the US means that GSM essentially loses its advantage of carrier switching... ____________________ |
