I had homemade sketti and garlic toast for dinner. Teaching the husband how to cook! It was pretty good, but not as good as mine. XD

Oh cool. :J How's the teaching going? Is he making improvements?

I had leftover steak for dinner, but I stir-fried it with veggies in this totally delicious and Asian way.

I owe it all to Ninette for recommending me this absolutely fantastic recipe!

I've never ever had leftovers or vegetables this awesome. This was such a delight to make and eat. I'm so satisfied.

Let's see, I had scrambled eggs, sausages, two French toasts, and two donuts. Then I had beef burgundy with buttered egg noodles and now I'm eating donuts.

Yes, I'm in my school's all-you-can-eat dining hall.

Damn it Sofi your pictures make me wish I knew how to cook. Instead my diet is provided largely by the pizza place and 24 hour Dunkin Donuts across the street. I'm such a slob

Hah, I'm so sorry! It's totally worth learning how to cook, though. I highly recommend it! It makes your meals more fulfilling and fun. Not to mention, it's way healthier than eating pizza and Dunkin' Donuts all the time. Don't be a slob!

It's lunchtime here and I opted for something much, much simpler this time: a grilled Swiss cheese, tomato and turkey sandwich!

I was never much for sandwiches before, but this was positively delightful. I'll totally enter this into my regular food rotation.

Your meals look delicious, Sofi. I wish I could cook ... I know how to but my landlady forbids using the kitchen

My aunt gave me some rice, beans, and chicken. That's all I had today (really!).

Some weird rice-chilli-vegan-thing my parents made. I'm hungry enough I don't care that it lacks flavour.

I got a whisk yesterday so I had an omelet with green onions, green pepper, (not green) sausages and (not green) cheese with two slices of buttered toasts (neither of which were green). I've seriously never used a whisk before and this just made beating the eggs so much easier. Before that, I was simply forced to use chopsticks, which was really, really tiresome!

I didn't take a picture of the meal since I haven't perfected omelet-making yet, but I'm getting there!

Good luck on moving out, FieryIce!

I made hash browns this morning, guys. It took a lot out of me. Literally. Putting the potato through the cheese grater, I cut my hand and bled for half an hour.

Anyway, on my friend's recommendation, I added scallions, which made the dish taste more like some Asian adaptation of hash browns rather than actual hash browns. I don't think I'm going to do that in the future.

The dish was served with some yummy runny sunny-side up eggs and sausages.

This was totally not worth half an hour of bleeding, but it was still tasty! Next time, I think I'll skip on the green onions and maybe the getting cut. ;D
