I wouldn't exactly mind a "non-deconstructing" version, but that's not something for a full length series. Some OVAs or extra episodes like that would be nice, tho. As for the awesome "fuck you, Incubator" / "Morning Lescue" version, I'm not sure if it has just been delayed by one week, or if the next broadcast is still undecided. | I finally decided to sit down and watch this, and I'm willing to say that this is the best anime series I've ever seen. (Out of the 20 or so that I've ever really payed attention to, but still...)
All things considered, though, I enjoyed the series immensely, and I can see myself watching it again in the future. |

So, stuff happened over the last few months. Everyone already knows, I assume, but still. The anime's getting a US release courtesy of Aniplex USA, complete with an English dub even (tho I don't care about that part). And seeing how German publishers are useless, I suppose I'll be importing the US DVDs once they come out. In addition, a PSP game has been announced a week or so ago. Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable will be a Rougelike with (apparently) visual novel elements, as well as branching scenarios and such, and will be another game to tack "Portable" onto the main series title. The game will be released in Japan in March 2012. (And my copies of the 3 Madoka manga have arrived today, but no one cares about that )

| I found myself gasping in surprise at a lot of the twists that were in Madoka Magicka. Seriously, I was not expecting Mami to die, least of all in the beginning of the anime.
Also, I wanted to punt Kyuube SO many times. |

Since this thread exists already: Madoka movies.
I didn't get a chance to see the first movie since I was back home in Amherst for March Break, but I got the chance to watch Movie 2 tonight. Surprisingly, the 15+ group of people in there were pretty quiet and kept in their own groups. No yelling of "WHO HOMU HERE?", no laughing at scenes with Kyubey, just general politeness. Apparently they had posters and you had to ask for them... I didn't. I'm actually disappointed. When Movie 3 comes out, I'll ask though. ____________________  |
