Would anybody be willing to get the Dragon Quest 5(J) debug code for the SNES to work?

The Game Genie code is:
Enable debug menu
DD6D-DDD0
DD6D-DD00

Push the A button to bring up the menu, go to 2nd option, then go to 5th option to access the debug option.

The code does add the 5th option to the menu, but when you go to access it, a menu partially appears and freezes. I've tried this code on my own game, and a couple of different roms including the translated one with no luck. Would anybody have a working code(game genie or par) or what bytes to change in the rom to get the debug menu to work? I'm using the actual SNES system.

It could be that the debug menu is not fully implemented, a lot of times they tend to remove those things after development or only leave in segments of it. Still, lots of times the whole thing does get left behind. I know nothing about the game, so I couldn't say what the case is here still that may be a possibility as to why it doesn't work.

That could be true, but I don't think that's the case. I think it needs a 3rd code to access it like the Dragon Quest 6(J) debug menu.
