Anyways, a Pokémon style battle will be a fresh change in the comic. besides, there are not too many mario battle sequences left to be used.

The same deal happened with the Reminox. The light bubbles seem to not actually have a "light atmosphere", but simply shield the dark atmosphere and create a neutral one. Dark things can get through probably because the field is strong enough to just repel the particles in the air or something.

There are powered light sources, then there are energized light sources. The first only provides a none harmful effect to you, the other which needs light beam ammo hurts darklings and ing. If you power it up with annihilator beam it will provide the same effect, plus attract darklings and ing since it provides aspects from both poles.

Those walking creatures in dark aether that provides light only provides the basic kind. :3

@Teyla: Yeah, as mentioned, the light just sort of repels them, but some of these monsters have no problem coming in. If the light were to be supercharged, then it would cause some damage. Also, I should point out that Reminox was not actually a darkling.
