Magic is the only card game that requires critical thought and analysis when deck-building.
Therefore, Magic.

I have over 3000 pokemon cards, but don't know how to use them.

I plan to sell them in the year 2050. :p

I've played various card games, starting with pokemon, then on to Yu-Gi-Oh, then a brief stint with Magic before I gave up because of constraints such as card costs. I still have all my cards.

Well, I played both Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, but while I still have the cards I don't use them anymore.

Clearly this man has played every single TCG known to man quite a bit to be able to make such a judgment.

I'll buy your Star Trek cards from you. Or those Zelda ones. I know you have them; otherwise, how could you know what kind of depth goes into deckbuilding?

I don't think there is anyone who can say that they haven't played Pokemon TGC at least once in their life (although it probably won't be long before I'm proven wrong). I played Pokemon for the longest time and actually collected the entire first 3 sets. After that I moved onto Yu-gi-oh but that didn't last to long. Now all of my cards just sit around the house collecting dust

So that's the game I was forgetting to add, Pokemon. Oh well.

Yes, as no other TCG game in the universe that has any strategy at all.

If you want a program to play M:tG online (or a program to play YGO online) I've got both. I'm semi-positive that there's one for Pokemon as well. Which do you want?

Any.

I don't know anything about Magic, though, but I know enough for the other two.
I'll be fine with whatever you pick.
Unless they require the actual cards, in which case I'll have to go digging.

Wait what

Also, I occasionally play Pokemon, just online though (currently using Redshark, also have used Apprentice with a patch, but that one's more outdated). Say what you want about Magic and strategy, I just can't get into the game; it's just not fun to me.

Eh, I'll give you the YGO program then (it doesn't require the actual cards).
The MTG one is really confusing to use and if you don't know how to play the game in the first place you're kinda screwed.
If you can't unzip .7z files then either download WinRar or 7zip, because it's a .7z file (~18mb uncompressed so I wanted to get it as small as possible and apparently 7zip has a better compression rate (.7z file is ~11mb and .rar file is ~13mb) (lots of gifs to compress)).

Wait what
In Yugioh. There's Gradius, Gradius' Option, and a bunch of cards of the bosses from it...

Oh, I apologize for offending your card-game aesthetics. Let me rephrase that.

Magic is the only popular card game that requires critical thought and analysis when deck-building.

There, is that better? Sorry if I accidentally dissed your Trap cards and Electrode + Zapdos combo decks.

I only collect the cards for the art. Don't care if it's powerful or rare or not. I collect (or used to collect) cards from Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, and Duel Masters.

I have a pile of 20+ Agido and Kelbek cards each sitting in my cabinet.
