I used to post on some of the Sonic forums (back in I think '03-'05), but I never really ventured too far outside of the ROM hacking side of things... and so lost interest entirely when I lost access to the computer that had my hack on it.

Can't say I've been at Acmlm or Jul all that long, but I'm feeling reminded of my days at ZSO (that drama-filled Beta Zelda and hacking site, surely you've heard of it? ) and Filb.de (Pokemon/anime/gaming site, much content focus changing over the years).

ZSO and the ZC forums must've been 2002 or so until the end, Filb.de (or Filb's World, FilbBoard, etc) was... 1999 until 2005/2006-ish?

It is unfortunate, really, I spent most of my time on the internet (up to 10 years) at a forum which neither appreciated me, nor even tolerated me. It's 10 years, but it didn't mean anything at all, since the people there treat me worse than strangers.

As for here... even though I've only been here 5ish years, it seems a lot closer to home than that wasteland ever was.

I think it was around that time.

Oh man ZSO. It was fun when pretty much the only person doing research was Cen and everybody else was just making strange plot-related theories based on what they found using the "Beta Quest" cheat. I remember when someone posted the OoT debug ROM and Cen found all of the near unused maps in it, like the ones form the early, early screenshots.
