Steak-flavored stuff that isn't steak is usually kinda bad. Just like bacon-flavored stuff. Seriously.

Actually, I could think of some flavors.

How about honey, ginger ale, maple syrup, and blue raspberry? Separate flavors, of course.

All together wouldn't be to bad! I'd be a raspberry waffle topped with maple suryp and honey with a glass of ginger ale!

I don't eat them that much and it's funny that this thread was brought up when I recently saw the episode of Dirty Jobs that featured Jelly Bellies.

Of course blue raspberry stuff is always awesome. It's seriously a godsend of a flavor.

I never saw that one, but now that you mentioned it I wonder if there's an episode of "How It's Made" featuring them. I've see other candies but not jelly beans.

I don't think I've ever not liked a jelly bean. Except for spicy ones when I was little, but aside from that...

Then again, I haven't had any of the Berty Bott's jelly beans. There might be some that I don't like, but I just haven't tried them yet.

To me, flavored sugar is sugar is good

For the love of God, people, get yourself a package of the Cold Stone Creamery flavors of Jelly Belly. If I wasn't trying to watch my own calorie intake, I'd have eaten the entire package in under an hour.

They are incredible.

Oh god, I have a cold stone creamery less than a kilo from here, I'm getting some tomorrow morning!

You'd probably pay less if you just got the Jelly Bellys. I love Cold Stone but damn, the prices are utterly absurd. I'd hate to think of what it is in Canada with all the taxes and crap added to it.

I'm expecting something like $6 for a small. Sounds like cutting off one's finger would also be payment on either side of the border.

No shitty taxes and crap in Alberta, we're the last non-absurdly taxed province.

Lucky you guys. I thought it was everywhere, honestly. Then again, I'm only familiar with the province of New Brunswick. And then there, only slightly.

But yes! Anyway, get those Jelly Bellys. I've never tasted anything so full of flavor.

Of course, I can't help but wonder if the Canadian view (even Alberta) of "absurdly taxed" differs quite a bit from the American...

Well the best province for taxes is Alberta with only 5% tax

Other Provinces can exceed 15% though. And then there are other useless municipal fees in some places.

Ah, so closer to the US than I thought.

Massachusetts (also known as "Taxachusetts", to give an impression how we are relative to the rest of the country) used to have a 5% sales tax, but now it's been raised to 6.25% for a few years now. Which is a pain to calculate.

New York's sales tax is I believe 8% for most non-groceries, last I remember... even worse than Massachusetts

Sales tax here is 9.5%. Only some food items are taxed, though.

Personally, I'm suprised at how much your elected officals tax you guys. I thought the 7% I had to pay 6 years ago was bad. Paying 9.5% would probably bankrupt most of my neighbourhood.

Well I guess we can't all have tons of oil. Or even really oily sand.

And oil would be an awful jelly bean flavor! See, bringing it back on topic.
