Take two flat pieces of cooked pork. These will act like your bread. slather applesauce on one piece and place the other piece on top. Serves 1

Supper tonight was chicken and pasta. Nothing too fancy.

No leftover pizza. It's all gone. :\

CB: No, I had 2 large pieces and half of another piece. 2.5.

They are probably the best thing since mint aero.

My grandmother's muffins.

This time, she puts blueberries AND apples in them. I decree these muffins are better than sex.

I made instant noodles but—get this!—I put a soft-boiled egg lightly seasoned with pepper, salt and basil in it. It was delicious. I think instant noodles are totally overlooked. There are so many ways you can use them as a base and then cook neat fancy stuff cheaply on top of it. And you don't have to worry about the sodium if you don't use the soup base!

I'm so glad to see this topic alive and well again. I really missed posting all my food updates!

I'm having macaroni and cheese again—not home made like I did last night—but from a box. The brand isn't Kraft; it's Annie's Homegrown which I utterly swear by. If you guys want box macaroni and cheese, you owe it to yourself to give Annie's Homegrown a try! You won't be disappointed.

Anyway, I made my dish a little zestier this time by adding some black pepper and cayenne pepper to the mix. It's absolutely delicious now and packs a little bit of a punch from the added spiciness. Yum! :9

Oh, they should be available at grocery stores all over. I think they have them in Canada, even. (But you don't have to go there to get some!)

To make sure they're available in a location near you, though, you can check out their nifty and super-convenient store locator.

They've got a lot of different kinds, too, so you have a nice variety. The cool thing about this brand is it prefers to use shells rather than elbows, which I think gives it a nicer texture and holds the cheese sauce better.
