Beautiful, thanks!
Hey! Do you see what I see? In the background, off to the left, that looks like the beta disk planet. The one with its own sky.

There's so many little things to notice here! Like, why is there no entrance door? And is that snow? And a stained window with Peach picture?

Minor discovery, but this one is probably as close to a big discovery as we'll get. After looking around for the last part of the Upside-Dizzy Galaxy main room, I happened across it under the name SwitchGravityBombHeiPlanet. Why is this important? Bob-ombs (Bomb-Hei) don't appear at all in this galaxy, nor in its relative, Rightside Down Galaxy. This is the section of the room that just has you dodge Paragoombas to reach the pipe in the ceiling.

That comes a bit lately, but I think that Deadly Creatures was planed for the Game Cube.
Deadly Creatures has got a lot of "creepy" bugs there, and these bugs found in SMG1 just match the style.
And yes, the textures are low-res, just like on the Game Cube.
Low-res textures + "Deadly Creatures"-styled bugs = Deadly Creatures for NGC.
Who's with me?

Sorry, but that seems like a complete stretch. First of all, Deadly Creatures was developed by THQ, who had absolutely nothing to do with SMG. Second, the game came out 2 years after SMG and after SMG2 had already been announced. What's more, the creatures in Deadly Creatures are real animals, and the art style is much different.
Edit: Also, I should mention... I finished. I've gone through every model in both SMG games now. There is nothing left to report, at least as far as models are concerned.
