And to top it off all flash carts out there right now will produce a log of an OFFICIAL game so there is no way they can know what you're playing beyond a fucking assumption. They all use legitimate chunks of code from official games to even boot on DSi/future systems. That's why my Supercard DSONEi shows up as Star Wars.

You should stop embarassing yourself, Pyra. The whole idea of "keeping a log" is impractical - both for the reasons Norman Google posted and because simply storing that log means any flashcard could access and invalidate said log.

What I meant by my statement previously is that the way the current 3DS is possibly designed is that they could block them by future firmware updates and if they truly want to be a dick about it they could probably make certain games require the newer firmware updates. .

Because the whole concept of a keystroke program is just complete crap. I guess we will find out out when it comes out here later this month.

But yeah, "keeping a log" means that this particular part of the memory isn't read-only. If it isn't read-only, you can easily overwrite it (hell, even read-only stuff can be written to, most of the time). Seriously, 'hackers' will end up destroying whatever security there is.

As I only play Nintendo portable systems for the Pokemon Games I will just wait until one comes out. However, at this time I am more interested in the NGP can do so depending on the launch date and/or price I will be probably be end up buying that first.
